Tom Clancy is a popular writer of many novels, most of them dealing with the military, espionage, and counter-terrorism. He is well-known for his Jack Ryan novels, leading to the creation of the Ryanverse. Recently, Tom Clancy has been famous among gamers worldwide for his collaboration with many video game companies to create the Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, and Rainbow Six series. All, but two, of his novels feature Jack Ryan and/or John Clark.
