Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

"Highly customizable semi-automatic rifle. Effective from long to medium range."
— In-game description

The SR-25 is a marksman rifle featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. It was introduced in the Operation Dust Line expansion pack and is available for use by the Operator Blackbeard. As a weapon exclusive to its Operator, the weapon comes with two irremovable locks that hold the Rifle-Shield in place.

Overview

The SR-25 on has a rather slow semi-automatic pull than most other marksman rifles, but hits much harder than those in its class, just below the OTs-03 in terms of pure damage. However, this weapon, especially when equipped with a Vertical Grip has low recoil, even with the shield equipped, making it an effective weapon for medium to long ranged engagements.

Trivia

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2

  • The New Weapons trailer for the game incorrectly claimed the weapon to be a bolt-action sniper rifle, when in fact it is a semi-automatic rifle.
  • The weapon incorrectly feeds 5 rounds out of a modeled 10 round magazine.
  • The weapon incorrectly doesn't eject spent casings when fired.
