Looking through a Tasco ProPoint red dot sight in real life

A Red Dot Sight is a reflex sight for most two-handed weapons that gives a nearly unobstructed view of the shooter's target unaffected by parallax or distance while giving them a crosshair from which to shoot. This makes it regarded as a fast, easy to use and versatile sight for police, military and hunting purposes alike.

Note: The Vegas series refers to the reflex as the Reflex Scope, while Siege refers to the reflex as the Reflex Sight.

The Reflex/Red Dot is a weapon attachment in the Rainbow Six universe. The Reflex appears in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. The Red Dot only appears in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: VegasEdit

"This fiber-optic scope provides a clear aiming point for all lighting conditions."
— In-game description

The Reflex Scope is a weapon attachment featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas. It replaces the default iron sight and provides a better line of sight for players to engage enemies from afar. The Reflex Scope can be equipped onto any primary weapon in-game.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2Edit

"This fiber-optic scope provides a clear aiming point for all lighting conditions."
— In-game description

The Reflex Scope is a weapon attachment featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2. Since Vegas 1 and 2 share the same engine and models, it appears in the same configuration as its Vegas 1 counterpart. It replaces the default iron sight and provides a better line of sight for players to engage enemies from afar. The Reflex Scope can be equipped onto any primary weapon in-game, just like Vegas 1.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six SiegeEdit

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege features two red dot sights.

Red Dot SightEdit

"Replaces iron sights with 1x dot sight."
— In-game description
The Red Dot Sight is an optical attachment featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. It replaces the default iron sight and provides a better line of sight for players to engage enemies from afar. The Spetsnaz have a unique set of optics available to them. Certain weapons (Non-Spetsnaz) have a smaller version of the Red Dot (Seen in the picture on the right). The following Primary Weapons have this compact variant: G36C, F2, P90, AUG, SPAS-12 and PARA-308.

Reflex SightEdit

"Replaces iron sights with 1x triangular reticle sight."
— In-game description

The Reflex Sight is an optical attachment featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. A variant of the Red Dot sight, it features a triangular green reticle and replaces the default iron sights to provide a better line of sight for players to engage enemies from afar. Reflex sights are the most unobtrusive sight option for most, if not all guns, and allow for the most peripheral vision while in ADS. As with the Red Dot Sight, the Spetsnaz have a unique version available to them. So far, the only Primary Weapon that can't equip this sight is the 417.
