- "Close to mid-range 9mm submachine gun with low recoil and a medium fire rate. Favored by BOPE."
— In-game description
The M12 is a submachine gun featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. It was introduced in the Operation Skull Rain expansion pack and is available for use by the Operator Caveira.
Overview
The slowest firing weapon in the game, the M12 is not the best submachine gun for close-range engagements. Its slow rate of fire does, however, make the gun easier to control at longer ranges. It's also suited for a more methodical playstyle thanks to having the tightest hipfire accuracy out of all submachine guns.
Pros
- Low recoil.
- Access to an Extended Barrel.
Cons
- Slowest automatic fire rate in the game.
- Lacks access to an ACOG Sight.
