Part three of a series of tests aimed at exploring everything you need to know about the suppressors in Rainbow Six | Siege! This final video, I will cover all benefits and disadvantages of using the suppressor (appart from damage reduction - covered in parts 1 & 2). The key takeaways from the tests are as follows:
Most suppressed guns can be heard up to 30m distance (except MP5SD - 80m)
Walls, floors, ceilings, door & window covers will shorten the distance at which suppressed shots can be heard
Suppressors completely eliminate muzzle flash (harder to be seen and better ADS view)
Suppressors do not eliminate bullet trails consistently
Suppressed shots can still be heard when they pass close to an opponent but they do not cause a white threat indicator
Supppressed hits still make a loud impact noise and cause a red hit indicator
Suppressors do not affect recoil
