Brotherhood of the Higher Realm Army (BOTHRA) is a terrorist organization that appears in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Eagle Watch. BOTHRA is an religious group that seeks violence. They are led by an Ahmadi cleric Shaykh Ahmadi Tilani, who established the organization in the early 1980's. Most BOTHRA cells are located in North America and Europe. BORTHA members have purchased isolated rural compounds in North America to live communally, practice their faith, and insulate themselves from western culture.
BORTHA members have attacked a variety of targets that they view as enemies, including Ahmadis they regard as heretics. Attacks during the 1980's included assassinations and firebombing across the United States. BOTHRA members in the United States have been convicted of criminal violations, including murder and fraud.
