The SIG SG 552 Commando carbine is a gas operated, select fire assault weapon that is derived from the original SG 550, developed for special forces teams. It has a short, 226cm barrel, three prong suppressor, and accepts rails and accessories for specialised optics and attachments.

At the time of Rainbow Six: Vegas, the SIG SG 552 Commando appears to have taken the role as the standard issue rifle of Team RAINBOW's operatives.
This gun is strange because its damage and penetration drop massively at long range. (It's bullets also spread)
So your best chance is to pump single shots in to their heads.
