The Skorpion vz. 61 E in reality

The Škorpion is a machine pistol manufactured by Zastava Arms that chambers the .32 ACP round.[1]

Although the Skorpion itself did not appear in the Rainbow Six universe, there are variants of the weapon that have. These variants are the Vz.61, CZ-61, and the VZ83 which is a variant of the Skorpion that chambers the .380 ACP round.


The Škorpion is categorized as a submachine gun in the Rainbow Six universe. The VZ.61 appears in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear, and the VZ83 appears in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2. The CZ-61 appears in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield, and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Lockdown.

The Vz.61 is a weapon featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear. The weapon is unusable during the single-player campaign, but can be used in the multiplayer portion of the game.

The CZ-61 is a weapon featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Lockdown. The weapon is great for close quarters combat and is a good choice for use in a confined space. The High-Capacity Mag increases the the total number of magazines from 9 to 13.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2

  • The PC version of the game allows the player to switch the fire mode from full-auto to semi-auto. This feature is not present on the console released version of the game.
  • Semi-auto fire is not recommended with this weapon, because the sights become misaligned every shot after the first bullet has been fired in this setting.
  • The weapon incorrectly feeds 30 rounds out of a modeled 20 round magazine.
